TransCore is providing simple step-by-step instructions on how to configure the Windows Firewall to ensure that your DAT Partners service is not interrupted. It is recommended that you review this information before installing Windows XP Service Pack 2. It is also available for download from this page.

Read Me First for Quick Install Tips

1. Print this page now for reference during the download.
2. On both single and multi-user system upgrades, we suggest downloading from your DAT Server PC.
3. Make sure you close your DAT Com Manager and all the DAT Connect applications on all your PC’s before installing DAT Partners V3.7.
4. To start the download, click on Now for DatPartnersV37p.exe.
5. Click on Save.
6. At the end of the download, click on Open to start the installation. Follow the instructions. On upgrades, all your configurations and passwords are saved.
7. If you have a single-user installation, you are done.

To complete multi-user installations, please continue with the following steps:

8. The steps above installed software on the DAT Server PC. Now, install or upgrade each of your client PC’s. Make sure you upgrade them all.
9. After the DAT Server installation is complete, go to the client machine.
10. From the client, close all applications and open My Computer.
11. Find the shared database folder { e.g. database on server (P) } and open it.
12. Open the Clientex folder.
13. Double click on clsetup.exe and the installation will begin. Follow the prompts until the installation is complete and click OK to restart the pc. The client will now have version 3.7 installed.
